Reporting Portal

You get what you inspect; not what you expect.

You've probably heard that a million times, but it's really true; and relevant to your intranet strategy. Very simply, everyone wants to maximize usage of their intranet. But you can't just expect this to happen; you have to inspect it.

In other words, analytics cannot be just an 'add on' to your intranet platfform. Instead, it must be fully integrated into the site from the ground up. Just as important, your stakeholders must then use the metrics to monitor and adjust your content and how your employees engage with the site.

Aggregate vs. Individual Results

Some OptEngage metrics report on aggregated activity (e.g., most popular content) while others report on actual usage by employee (e.g., most engaged and influential users). With this data you can:

  • holistically evaluate your intranet performance and compare aggregate results over time; and
  • track and compare the specific intranet engagement and influence results for each employee.

By the way, the individual user tracking is not intended to be punitive; but rather to provide your organization with new data to supplement your existing performance management practices.

Other Features

As illustrated below, the OptEngage analytics engine communicates your data in chart and tabular formats. Also, all KPI data is downloadable to Excel so you can do additional ad hoc analysis.

In addition to illustrating trends, each KPI instance allows for direct comparison of actual results against target.
